It was commissioned by [[Onesiphorus Tyndall Bruce\|Onesiphorus]] and [[Margaret Tyndall Bruce]], but not completed until after Mr Tyndall Bruce's death.		The '''Bruce Fountain''' is an ornamental fountain in [[Falkland High Street]], near the site of the [[Mercat Cross]]. It was commissioned by [[Onesiphorus Tyndall Bruce\|Onesiphorus]] and [[Margaret Tyndall Bruce]], but not completed until after Mr Tyndall Bruce's death. After considerable discussion on its decoration, lions holding shields with the arms and mottos of both the Bruces and the Town of Falkland were added.
